There are a few places that I question Yelping because they are sooo awesome that I feel greedy and want to keep them to myself. But then I have to be nice and think about the owners and how much better it would be for them to rock out running their businesses. What a world, what a world. Enter 900 DeWitt Place. Have friends or family coming from out of town? Live in the 'burbs and want to spend a night in Chicago for a play or just to get away? Care to enjoy the views of Lake Michigan without the tourist trap hotels and extra taxes and fees? This is the place. My husband, our dog and I stood here for New Years Eve and loved every single part of our stay. The quiet, vintage building is tucked away in Streeterville with hundreds of venues, restaurants, stores and parks nearby. Northwestern Memorial Hospital and RIC, as well as the MCA are all within walking distance. The studio is fully furnished, complete with dishes. Be prepared for a tiny Euro-style bathroom with tub. Juan, the Reservations Manager, was very professional and very helpful. I would highly recommend  900 N. DeWitt Place to anybody looking for a place to stay in Chicago at an affordable price.

Ideally situated for exploring the city. Staff available and helpful but not at all intrusive. The option of self-catering is good when making a longer stay for business. It's a nice building in a good part of CHicago, situated just one blcok from the Lake.

Prima appartementje: Fijn bed, complete keuken met gasfornuis, oven, magnetron, koffiezetapparaat, broodrooster, koelkast en vriezer. Snel wireless internet.

Excellent

traveling for business
I spent most of March at the Dewitt Place. I was on business and loved the location, room, and staff. The hotel's niche is extended stay. If you are going to be Chicago for more than a week they are definitely the least expensive place (of good quality).

Great Location!

This January my three friends and I stayed at DeWitt Place in Chicago for a girls weekend. When we first enter the hotel until we left the hotel, the service was wonderful. We were greeted upon arrival and was given a tour. They have a gym which included a sauna which was very nice coming back from a day of shopping. The rooms were very clean and the beds were extremely comfortable. I had a great night sleep without waking up to back aches. It was also a great location. Being very close to Michigan Ave. made things extremely easy. I would recommended this hotel to everyone!

A great experience!”

Juan was very kind in greeting us as we checked in, he gave us a tour and showed us to our two rooms. He also made himself available to us should any problems arise. The hotel itself was very clean and quiet, it is also conveniently located near Michigan Ave. Juan let us know about the grocery store right across the street, that was very nice as well since the hotel had a full kitchen. It was a really nice weekend and I'd definitely stay at Dewitt Place again when I travel to Chicago.

Location, location, location.

Dewitt was the perfect stay for my girlfriend and I. It is only three blocks off of North Michigan Avenue, and close to the Watertower Place Mall. It is also conveniently within walking distance to the Rush and Division restaurants and bars. The room was good sized, the stay was comfortable, and quiet. I would definitely return if I am ever in Chicago.

From now on, the ONLY place we'll stay in
Chicago!

We just cannot say enough about Dewitt Place. The location is perfection and the management could not have been more accommodating or helpful.

Location! Location! Location!
A few blocks off Michigan Ave. - just east of the Hancock Building and a few blocks from Oak Street Beach. Restaurants, coffee, shopping and anything you could need within walking distance.

Each Studio has a nice size kitchen with all appliances. Beds are comfortable and living space is perfect for lounging. Lots of closet space and a nice, big dresser. It felt nice to have everything put away! There is a Trader Joe's just a few blocks away (Whole Foods is a slightly longer walk) to stock your kitchen.

Free Wifi!!!

Making the reservation was a breeze. the office staff was friendly and quickly replied to phone calls and emails.

We got in hours before the studio was available and had a whole afternoon left in Chicago on the day we checked out. Building management stored our bags cheerfully both days.

We plan to go back to Chicago often and will only stay at DeWitt.
